I'm Claire.

Im a photographer based in a beautiful city, Nelson, New Zealand. I have a Husband and three young children. After having my first born I decided to follow my passion of capturing real moments of love, I am so lucky to call this my job and hang out with amazing people! My style is very candid, I want to capture the real moments, the little pauses, smiles, giggles and cuddles. The moments we all want to bottle up and hold on to forever.

From grass-roots

beginnings.

I started learning photography at a young age, I was lucky to attend a high school with a photography program where I learnt all about film cameras and developing my own images. While I use digital now, I learnt so much about light and how to edit photographs manually in the dark room that are still helpful to me today! I went on to complete an Arts & Media degree with my major being photography.

At first it was a hobby, something I loved but couldn't fund without taking on a full time job. For a few years I worked as a Flight Attendant before taking the plunge into full time photography work. Now I have the best job in the world, where I get to hang out and make new friends, while capturing precious memories they get to keep forever.
